Despite some
difficulties with camera that I'm experiencing now I make some nature photos anyway. For some reason (which is called laziness) I haven't posted them yet. But I'm going to start today. This post is about spring flowers that bloomed in May and the next one will be about critters I met in spring.

This is why spring is my favorite season: hundreds and hundreds of different flowers everywhere.

Meadow buttercups...

Forget-me-nots are among my favorite spring wild flowers. They bloomed here in May and I enjoyed these tiny blue and white flowers very much. The most interesting thing about them that I've discovered only recently is that both blue and white blossoms can actually grow on one stem.

Not sure how these are called.. may be they're some kind of Corydalis. And btw they should be violet. My camera for some reason doesn't seem to distinguish it properly :(

Absolutely lovely dandelions. Despite the fact that these flowers usually grow in huge numbers covering fields with bright yellow color, these particular ones grew in one batch by the road.

Looks like an apple tree. Or some other fruit tree. This one stunned me. So many flowers and you can imagine their fantastic smell! I also love the young fur tree needles. They're so gentle.

Some Wild geranium...

And I have no idea about this one. I sure need some field guide about local flowers. And mushrooms. And birds. I want to know more about creatures and plants I encounter and I need to know how they're called too.

Да, форгет-ми-ноты - классые цветы. И чё везде про тараканов?!
The geranium is the meadow cranesbill....beautiful plant I grow it in my garden. The last photograph belongs to the lamium family....I have that to, very pretty.....
Nice post, lovely to see the pretty wildflowers in your country......
Gotta love those spring flowers! They just don't last long enough...unless you photograph them!
I like your photos. I saw in an earlier post that you thought you might need a tripod. I hate to carry a tripod, but always carry a short walking stick when I'm out. I use the stick like a tripod by holding the stick and camera together in one hand with the stick firm against the ground. It's not perfect, but it stabilizes the camera a lot. Keep showing us your pictures.
Thank you for all the pretty wildflowers. I also want to know the names of all the trees and flowers and birds and bugs...nature is exciting!
Hope all is well for you. I use a mono-pod...like a tripod but much easier to carry only one leg!

@ BrainWorker I like forget-me-nots very much they're simple yet so attractive. As to cockroaches.. I've got lots of em in my mind lol )
@ Cheryl thanks for helping me id the flowers! You have the most beautiful garden I've ever seen. So you don't only plant the garden flowers but some wild too? Or they're also considered as decorative?
@ Dave Lewis Yes spring flowers really don't last long and they don't grow as rich as summer ones do but there's always something lovely about them. Something that always makes me catch the moment of their growth with my camera.
@ Steve Willson Yep the weight is the reason why I still don't have a tripod. When I go hiking I always take a backpack with me where I place some necessities: food, about 2L of water, a jacket in case it rains etc. In the end both me and my husband HATE to carry all those things to say nothing about a tripod. Your idea about using a stick is interesting. I guess I'll try it. And tripod... maybe... someday...
@ Sherry Nature is sooo exciting. Each day in the forest holds lots of new adventures and findings too. About the mono-pod: is it heavy? What is its approximate weight? Carrying heavy things is such a pain to me.
